Chris Jeffries is an artistic universe unto himself. He is one of the great musical theatre composers and his shows deserve to be in the canon. He premiered many of the first shows at Annex Theatre in the 90’s, where he was a founding member. Shows like The Fatty Arbuckle Spookhouse Review and I See London, I See France. His musical about Oscar Wilde and his relationship with Russian revolutionary Vera Zasulich, Vera Wilde, is one of my favorites. Chris is also renowned for being the accompanist for legendary drag queen Dina Martina.

Chris is family and I hope to make music with him forever.

Chris and Rick were my musical team when I did my solo show Go There, where I sang this Terry Callier song, which has perfect lyrics for an actress wrestling with all the prickly edges of fame-seeking.
